This report represents a manufacturer of PVC accessories, the company has problems in its processes, where there are no established procedures of work flow, also shows a poor distribution of their respective areas, which causes the operator to make unnecessary trips by the location of the areas, It also presents non-productive times due to delays in the process, which caused delays in the high production demands, being these a concern since it could lose market presence against its competitors, as well as defective products in its process and poor utilization of production capacity, resulting in the problem of low productivity. The present report was made with the objective of improving the productivity of the process of the products: rectangular or octagonal boxes, by means of tools of the SLP methodology, 5S and standardization of the work, formats were implemented for audit of processes and study of times, for which it was obtained that the utilization of the capacity of the machines was improved from 88.53% to 97. 52% for the rectangular box, and from 84.63% to 92.56% for the octagonal box, the defective products were reduced from 3.52% to 1.52% for the rectangular box, and from 3.59% to 1.60% for the octagonal box, the productive times with respect to delay improved from 90.63% to 100% and the productive times with respect to necessary routes improved from 89.09% to 95.70%, and the productivity improved from 16.36 kg/H-H-H to 23.51 kg/H-H.
