In Peru, public works projects such as the construction of the Bicentennial Schools have adopted the BIM methodology due to its various benefits, including better coordination, integration, and collaboration among work teams, reduction of errors and rework, optimization of time and costs, among others. In this context, the main objective of this professional sufficiency work is to create a guide aimed at improving change management due to construction processes. These changes frequently appear during the execution of a building, and it is necessary to perform proper analysis and control to ensure that the project does not extend beyond its scope, costs, and timelines. This can be achieved by correctly using the Dynamo program within Revit software, which is widely used for project control under the BIM methodology. To validate the problem, an expert judgment was conducted, confirming that there is a delay in the exchange of this information among professionals. Therefore, a comparative analysis was performed on the time it takes to manage the information of a change in the project under an RFI between the traditional methodology and the proposed one. An approximate time saving of 71% was obtained.
