Otros títulos: This article aims to determine the influence that unions have on the well-being of workers, based on quantitative and qualitative research previously carried out by authors of various nationalities, focused mainly on business management issues. The primary objective is to demonstrate the positions of the authors regarding the influence of unions on the well-being of workers, for this, three specific objectives were developed: to make known how unions influence the obtaining of salary benefits, non-salaries and both benefits.
The methodology that was obtained was qualitative, through the reading of scientific articles focused on the subject, in them, the authors made their positions known, some showed that the unions favored the well-being of workers through salary benefits, others point out that well-being is achieved through non-wage benefits, and others argue that they contribute to through both types of benefits. Finally, other authors, on the contrary, maintain that, unions do not provide any type of benefit and could even harm the professional development of affiliated workers.
