The present work of professional sufficiency was proposed with the objective of consolidating a linear programming model for a correct supply planning of fuel in the face of the complexities of the environment in the company Petróleos del Perú known as Petroperú at the national level. Thus, the development of this proposal is considered important because it offers a diverse approach to address this problem, where the allocation of resources has been inefficient and more effective responses to contingencies are needed. For this reason, several national and international authors have been reviewed in books and research articles related to the most used methodologies in these situations, such as linear programming, the optimization method based on the vehicle routing problem, as well as theories related to TSP, CPP, VRP that facilitate the development of optimal routes and logistics costs. Thus, after the review and consolidation of data, it was decided to use the linear programming method to reduce transportation costs. The results indicated three scenarios on which to act in consideration of each route, highlighting that each route has a freight rate, and the demand should not exceed the capacity of the fuel sales plants. Consequently, it was concluded that through the application of this linear programming method an adequate operational readjustment was achieved, allowing a better supply traffic and, above all, the supply of the product to the customers.
