The present project was conceived within the context where most of the customer traffic in the B2B business's post-sale service occurred through traditional channels, such as call center and email. The primary goal was to increase demand and usage frequency of our WhatsApp channel for inquiries and requests. To achieve this, we initiated a branding methodology designed to unveil Maia's essence, a chatbot created to enhance the post-sale channel for the Movistar brand in 2022. Branding served as the foundation for identifying the appropriate name, communication style, preset colors, and other defining characteristics. Furthermore, the brand aimed to reduce the costs incurred by the advisory team, as general queries were handled by various call center team members. To address this, we developed a friendly and intelligent character to handle general customer issues, ensuring quick responses, effective issue resolution, and, in some instances, resolving problems without the need for human intervention. Among the primary outcomes, we observed a 43% increase in NPS (Net Promoter Score) in 2023, and Maia's customer satisfaction rated at 9.1 on a scale of 10 by the year's end. This project stands out in the digital advertising industry, showcasing how defining a bot's essence can generate positive outcomes for both the company and the user.
