The study presents the implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) in a laminating process to improve the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in a light coverings company. The aim was to enhance the efficiency of the production process and the quality of the final product, reducing waste and improving equipment performance. The contributions of recycling to operational efficiency and associated ecological benefits are highlighted. Production is defined as a process that adds value by transforming raw materials into products with added value. The project focused on increasing production and improving production ratios to generate higher income. Among the obtained results, the OEE improved by 13%, reaching an approximate value of 80%, which raised the process rating from 'Regular' to 'Acceptable'. The total production increased by 12%, and the percentage of non-conforming product was reduced from 7.7% to 6.1%, thus decreasing the waste cost by 6.2%. A significant improvement in maintenance indicators was also noted, with a 49% reduction in MTTR and a 102% increase in MTBF. The recommendations emphasize the importance of continuous staff training and the need to establish indicators known by all workers to achieve production objectives.
