Currently, manufacturing industries present an important participation in the global market, supported by large companies that have a positive impact. Thus, the efficiency indicator, applied to any field, is relevant to achieve business excellence by developing a specific created value and clear proposed objectives. In a more in-depth analysis, it was found that the average efficiency for the production of alcoholic beverages is even lower, being 40%. This situation motivated us to focus our research on the low efficiency within the beer production process and its possible causes, which still continue to generate problems within the process. Therefore, the company under study is one within the beverage/brewing sector, whose main problem is the low efficiency within the beer can production process. The importance of this case study lies in the calculated technical gap, which is 06.90% due to the efficiency for the organization to be considered competitive (85%) where the economic impact was 15.34% of the beer sales in 2022. Thus, the contribution of the tools of the Lean Manufacturing methodology seeks not only to increase efficiency, but also to minimize operational errors and reduce process downtime due to difficulties with the machinery with the specific development of SMED tools for Exchange of die, TPM and 5S for interruptions due to failures or malfunctions, and Andon for the control of defective products.
