The objective of this professional proficiency work is to present alternative solutions to the problematic situation of secondary transportation for the La Calera company, evidencing the increases that have been occurring in the labor costs of personnel, own units and others involved in the activity. The methodology is supported by theoretical and current information about the company, as well as a detailed analysis of the income statements for the years 2021 and 2022, showing the processes that are generating the increase in costs and reduction in the gross margin. In the evaluation, the increase between year and year of two variables is observed: the cost of transportation, which increased by 5%, and the cost of personnel payroll, which increased by 7%, with a tendency to continue increasing and reducing margins. Following the line of research, four alternative solutions to the problem were analyzed, contrasting information from the company with information on the cost of outsourced transportation offered on the market. Four solution proposals were proposed: 100% outsourcing of transport units, including personnel maintaining the company's own fleet and personnel; the company's own units and drivers outsourcing the assistants; and, finally, payroll assistants outsourcing units with drivers. In each of them, the load efficiency policy was considered: all units should exceed 80% for this operation to be profitable.
