The agroindustrial sector is one of the most important in the country since it contributes greatly to the country's economic growth. However, nowadays in the sector there are problems related to low productivity, which is a critical factor for the competitiveness of the companies. For this reason, this research arises with the purpose of providing a solution to agroindustrial companies by proposing a model that can increase the productivity of the agroindustrial sector through Lean tools and methods engineering. This model is divided into 4 stages: Diagnosis, development, implementation and follow-up. Starting with the diagnosis of the company, analyzing the current production process in the Cocoa production area, also analyzing the cause of low productivity, identifying as root causes the dead times of operators, non-standardized methods and difficulties in the positions of the operators as main causes. Subsequently, solution techniques such as Kaizen, work standardization, 5s methodology and method engineering tools are implemented. Finally, the implemented improvements are followed up. As a result, we obtained 16% higher productivity, optimized processes, organized areas, cost reduction and higher profits. Therefore, we conclude that the project, as well as the proposal, is viable and can be executed in similar scenarios to the agroindustrial industry.
