The goal of this work is to analyze the inefficiency in the warehouse stock control of the Pinky Cup company, which is dedicated to the sale, in physical stores, of souvenirs, wholesale and retail, of imported Chinese products, such as party supplies, office supplies, stationery items, gift items, household items, basic kitchen utensils and glassware. The objective of the organization is to satisfy the demand of those people who are looking for innovative, trendy, and good quality products at an excellent price. The company, in recent months, had a problem inside the warehouses since it suffered the theft of products by the staff. This is why, recognizing the importance and positive impact provided by proper warehouse stock management, they decided to implement the “Hydra” ERP system for inventory management and control; However, this was purchased in a basic version. This caused poor control, since it is not directly integrated to download the products as soon as a sale is made. The company has delegated to the administrative staff to take care of the records of entries and exits of the products manually, giving rise to the human factor generates inconsistencies. This document seeks to reflect the most relevant information for understanding the importance of correct inventory management of the company.
