The preservation of the consumer relationship in the practice of preventing money laundering and terrorist financing in the financial system turns out to be a practice that has shown to lack proportionality and reasonableness, thus affecting the consumer. In Peru, the contracts that regulate the contracting of savings accounts maintain safeguards so that companies in the financial system can terminate the aforementioned contracts by invoking the clause for the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism without any cause being expressed, which which is developed and analyzed throughout this professional sufficiency work (TSP), in order to identify and propose legal and regulatory alternatives in order to preserve the relationship of consumption of savings account products by companies. of the financial system when deciding to unilaterally terminate a contract for the aforementioned reason without considering the impact that could be caused to the consumer.
