The objective of this investigation is to assign appropriate routes to guarantee technical visits to all the fiber optic towers that the company Metadatos has. This could be achieved thanks to the assignment model with the integer linear programming method, which made it possible to find routes with the lowest mileage and with visits to all the fiber optic towers. The results obtained ensure a round transport cycle that starts from Lima to the towers located in rural cities and from there to Lima, optimizing the route and attention. In conclusion, it was determined that the alternative solution contributes to the reduction of unnecessary costs due to additional technical visits and the reduction of customer complaints due to the lack of continuity in the internet service. With the solution presented, it is projected that in the long term Metadatos can position itself in the rural market as a company that offers an efficient and continuous internet service.
