Burnout syndrome emerges as an issue that affects various populations exposed to high levels of stress, work demands, or academic pressures. Burnout in teachers results from physical, emotional, and mental exhaustion. Cognitive-behavioral therapies (CBT) have been developed to prevent and mitigate this issue. The aim of the study is to conduct a systematic review of intervention studies using the cognitive-behavioral model for reducing Burnout syndrome, understanding the proposed strategies and their effectiveness. The PRISMA verification guide was utilized, along with the Web of Science, Scopus, and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) databases. A total of 3 investigations were identified. The results report homogeneity in the applied themes; the analyses demonstrated the effectiveness of the intervention model in reducing burnout syndrome at a statistically significant level; however, the magnitude of the obtained effect varied. The implications of the study are discussed, along with limitations and recommendations.
