The role of the social network Twitter in elections has increased in recent years due to the development of digital communication, which has been used by political candidates to promote their line of thought and speech. That is why this research work analyzes the different political communication strategies used to build the image of Keiko Fujimori through her Twitter account (@KeikoFujimori), who was one of the candidates with the highest representation at the polls in the Peruvian presidential elections of the year 2021. With the analysis of a sample of tweets that had high resonance and using a qualitative and exploratory methodology, the existence of different political discourse strategies used through the Twitter account @KeikoFujimori has been demonstrated in order to reach the population in an assertive manner, in which Fujimori showed herself as a woman with whom the population could identify and making herself seen as a close ally of the voter. These strategies varied according to the circumstances that the candidate wanted to represent during the period of the second electoral round of 2021.
