The global pandemic cause by COVID-19 drastically changed various aspects of Peruvian society, with e-commerce being one of them. Due to restrictions, it was not possible to go out and shop normally, so companies and businesses had to migrate to the online market. The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between COVID-19 and online shopping. Consequently, the following research question has been proposed: was there a relationship between the risk of contracting COVID-19, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention to purchase online among young adults in Lima Zone 7? In order to answer the question, a quantitative method was used in research and an online data collection method was conducted through Google Forms survey, which was targeted at Peruvian men women aged 18 to 39 in Lima Zone 7, living tin the districts of La Molina, Miraflores, San Borja, San Isidro and Santiago de Surco. The sample of the present study is 323 people and its results were analyzed through statistical methods, which led to the conclusion that the risk of contracting COVID-19 is related to the user's perceived usefulness and online purchase intention; however, regarding the perceived ease of use, their relationship is lower.
