The present investigation addresses the problem of the low level of service in the fuel distribution system, in a supply plant located in Conchan in the south of Peru, which has consequently delayed and unattended orders from the beginning of the process until the end of this. In this sense, this work seeks to analyze, manage, optimize, and model the entire flow of the system using various engineering tools, which help to detect the main cause of the problem to attack it directly with a more efficient, organized, and optimized production model, incurring in a significant increase in revenue. The main objective of this thesis is to increase the service level of the distribution system using logistics tools and optimization of operations. For this reason, a DRP will be developed that allows planning the weekly product inventory requirement according to demand to avoid product shortages, as well as an appointment system that allows planning the number of tankers to be served per day to standardize times. service, and finally an optimization algorithm will be applied that will allow each cistern to be authorized at the stations that will have the required capacity and product. The validation was carried out by means of simulation, the results obtained were compared with the heuristics reported in the literature and the objectives extracted from the company's case study plans, obtaining an increase of 13.9% with respect to the level of current distribution system service.
