The work environment is recognized as a transcendental factor to increase the productivity of human capital, thus being able to achieve the goals and objectives set within an organization; That is why this study analyzes and evaluates the importance of the main factors and strategies that must be considered to measure the work environment. The theories of the different authors have allowed us to identify the internal and external factors that positively or negatively affect the productivity and performance of workers. These factors are important to determine the appropriate climate measurement tools, such as questionnaires, interviews, feedback, among others. The work is structured in four subtopics: the first, introduces us to the definition of work environment from the perspective of the different authors; the second theme explains the work environment strategies to maintain an adequate organizational climate; in the third subtopic, the measurement variables of the work environment are presented; and finally, the productivity and the results of the study. In conclusion, determining the factors to carry out an adequate measurement of the work environment will allow the development of work teams and the improvement of a business culture.
