In this paper, we seek to know the relationship between brand attachment and mobile banking service quality, and positive word of mouth. The study population is made up of young people between the ages of 21 and 35 who live in Metropolitan Lima and are users of BCP, Interbank, and BBVA mobile banking. Home confinement during Covid-19 was one of the main triggers for the use of new digital tools and the drive toward digital transformation in most sectors. All this, added to the need that people have to be connected, was one of the main drivers that promoted the growth of mobile banking, a sector with a series of benefits like immediate access to their banks anytime, and efficiency in transactions, among others, and which currently already represents more than half of bank operations in the country. Given this latent growth in the sector, the purpose of this research is to maximize the customer experience through their mobile banking applications through recommendations that are useful for financial institutions to better understand the behavior of current and potential customers that are part of the new generations who are digital natives. For the analysis, we define a sample of 300 users, 100 for each bank. The compilation of information was done virtually, using an online survey. In general, it concluded that brand attachment is associated with three mobile service quality dimensions: usability, value-added features, and interactivity. Also, it concluded that positive word-of-mouth is associated with the four mobile services quality dimensions. Finally, it concluded that brand attachment is associated with positive word-of-mouth. In a context where the mobile channel has become more relevant, there is an opportunity to carry out a deeper analysis of the association of these variables. Banking entities can use this as internal tracking to optimize the quality of their mobile apps.
