The purpose of this project is to increase the online shopping demand of a retail company located in Metropolitan Lima. To achieve this objective, we will investigate the technological solutions available in the market, compare them and, considering these, develop a solution. The implementation and testing of this solution with groups of users will allow us to validate that the improvements implemented in the purchasing process meet the established objectives. The analysis of the implementation of other solutions in the retail sector will be fundamental for the success of the project. The key capabilities of the solution are performing product searches, providing customer suggestions, and providing a payment gateway. On the other hand, the implementation of this solution is aimed at reducing costs, improving the online purchasing process, and increasing the volume of online sales. For the above mentioned, it has been defined that the final product will allow us to validate the improvement in the demand for online purchases, supported by the technology used during the development of the project. The scope of the project has been contemplated to be developed throughout the 28 weeks that comprise the academic cycles of Project Workshop, covering the cycles 2020-02 and 2021-01.
