The following study seeks to determine how the Work Environment influences Job Satisfaction in the Construction sector of Lima Metropolitana. The study of both variables in the Construction sector has been of utmost importance; given that the Construction sector presents one of the highest labor turnover in the country, which is evidenced by the fluctuation of -3.1% in the Economically Active Population, between the years of 2018 and 2019, underperforming other sectors in the country. This study proves the relation between both variables and the impact it can have on the labor workers, which is an important factor on the firms operations. The firms chosen for this study have been those which presented more relevance among the Construction sector based on the highest sales (billing) and profits (revenue) in 2018. For this investigation, labor workers from the Construction sector were considered as the main focus, as there are no previous investigations that focus on the impact of good working environment on Job Satisfaction for the Target on the sector. Therefore, to demonstrate this, a correlational study was carried out based on the cross-type and non-experimental approach using a sample of 385 labor workers from the top five most relevant firms of the Construction sector in Lima. The results of the investigation prove that there is a correlation between both variables. This shows that a better working environment leads to higher Job Satisfaction in these workers. These results are important for the Construction sector and will be very useful for other sectors as well given that not all firms give the required importance to their staff, especially labor workers, who are an essential factor on their operations.
