The objective of this research was to determine the influence of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the buying behavior of cosmetics consumers in Metropolitan Lima. The model used in this research was the one proposed by Carroll in 1991. With it, CSR is studied through four dimensions: economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic. In addition, authors' literature such as Kotler was used to explain the buying behavior process. The study sample is made up of women from 15 years old who reside in Metropolitan Lima These women should consume at least one cosmetic. In addition, this study was elaborated from the quantitative model, trying to relate the assessment that cosmetics consumers attribute to CSR and how this influences their purchasing behavior. thereby demonstrating the importance of CSR applied in business as a competitive advantage, resulting in a win to win for both parties. The data collection instrument was carried out through the Likert scale with a score of one to five. In addition, this study was based on previous models, such as the one conducted by Maignan in 2001, using Carroll's theory, to a group of consumers from different countries. The general results obtained in this research work shows that there is a significant mean relationship between CSR and purchasing behavior. However, the assessment of CSR by itself shows high percentages of acceptance by consumers.
