Abstrac: Recent cases of corruption and high-level bribes discovered in our country, have caused an earthquake not only in judicial, but also political and even business environments. Cases such as Lava Jato, Odebrecht and the Construction Club, have focused our attention on transcendental issues such as ethics, social responsibility and legal risk, recognizing their importance as indispensable elements in the management of organizations, in order to reduce or eliminate the possible negative consequences on the image, reputation and continuity of the organization over time. Situations such as those mentioned in the preceding paragraph, are those that drive the implementation of a compliance management system, allowing organizations to proactively manage their legal risks, which together with a solid and authentic culture of compliance, allow sustainable development in harmony with our stakeholders. This research work aims to sensitize and raise awareness among organizations in being responsible, knowing the legal terms associated with culture and compliance, for its subsequent application. Also, through the application of an evaluation matrix, we hope that the organization identifies the stage of maturation it is in, before implementing a compliance program. Finally, we seek that cultural change not only be an intention but be carried out by conviction rather than by obligation, preparing the organization for a transformational process towards a compliance culture.
