Coronavirus 19 disease (COVID-19) is a global health challenge, due to the high numbers of infected and dead it is leaving in the world, in addition to the impact it has had on health systems. We must know the neurological complications of this disease for the great frequency of its reports and for the high rate of morbimortality that patients face due to the damage in the central nervous system (CNS). We present the case of a 26-year-old male with CNS disorders, who has no respiratory signs or symptoms. It was reached the diagnosis of COVID-19 using the rapid serological test of immunochromatography for immunoglobulin Ig-M and Ig-G, it was evidenced the inflammatory process by multislice spiral brain tomography. It was not carried out polymerase chain reaction to identify SARS-CoV-2 in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF); however, it was evidenced characteristics compatible with viral infection, which are also found in other reported cases. Nowadays, it is not known the complete physiopathology of this disease; besides, there is little evidence or recommendations for the effective and safe treatment in these patients, so this case will allow knowing the neurological manifestation of COVID-19 without respiratory clinic.
