Over the years, construction projects under a traditional methodology present many inconsistencies. In this way, this study seeks to apply the BIM (Building Information Modeling) methodology in the development of projects, which allows us to present more values. real and have a perspective of a construction digitally. Through the use of BIM tools, we carried out 3D modeling in the Revit 2021 software, importing the 2D plans from the technical file to accurately fit the elements that make it up (Structure and Architecture), as the modeling progressed, it was possible to notice small interferences. Then with the analysis in the Navisworks software, where they showed 73 incompatibilities that were later corrected. Through the comparison between Traditional. and BIM, we show that in the former there is a lack of criteria for metering and important steel and concrete items were overmeasured, which led to an overbudget for the project. In our study of “Local Escolar 1611”, located in the Mache district, a reduction in the budget of 3.40% equivalent in soles to S/. 37,977.32, with this it allows better decision-making among those involved, management of resources and avoiding possible additional and deductive in infrastructure projects, since, for buildings, because it is a lump sum, the approval of a benefit is more complex
