This report addresses the current situation of the streets in the Nueva Esperanza sector, District 26 de October, province of Piura, department of Piura. The need to pave these roads is highlighted, due to their importance for the connection between the annexes. It is proposed to carry out an investigation to design and construct the pavement using the AASHTO-93 method, and to carry out an analysis of the cost of pavement execution according to its dimensions. In addition, it is mentioned the performance of previous studies such as traffic and soil mechanics study to choose the most suitable pavement structural design. In this way, the thicknesses for the flexible pavement were determined, with a 5 cm asphalt layer, a 20 cm granular base and a 15 cm subbase. For the rigid pavement, it was found that the concrete slab has a thickness of 15 cm and a granular base of 15 cm and finally for the articulated pavement, paving stone thicknesses of 8 cm, a sand bed of 4 cm and a granular base of 26cm. It was concluded that the flexible pavement is the most suitable and recommended option for the investigation. In addition, the estimated budget for the pavements is included. For more detail a price comparison between flexible and rigid pavement has been made where it was shown that the ideal pavement for the area is the flexible one.
