Objetve: To build a predictive model for the conversión of patients undergoing emergency lararoscopic cholecystectomy. Material and Method: Analytical, observational, cross-sectional retrospective in 200 histories of patients undergoing emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy in Víctor Lazarte Echegaray Hospital during the period 2016-2017. Results: The frequency of conversion was 18.7 % of the total of patients. In the analysis bivariado, the age (p=0.001; OR=10,56, IC95 % = 4,73-23,56), the masculine sex (p=0.001; OR=10,98, IC95 % = 4,67-25,82), IMC (p=0,001; IC 95 % = 1,23-3,10), leukocytes =18 000xmm3 (p=0,001 OR=5,95, IC95 % = 2,77-12.81) showed statistical significant difference (p <0.05). In the multivaried analysis, the age (p=0.000; OR=7,82, IC95 % = 2,60-23,48), the masculine sex (p=0.000; OR=11,26, IC95 % = 3,58-35,33), IMC (P=0,001; OR=1,53, IC 95 % = 1,19-198), size of the calculation (p=0,002; OR=1.22, IC95 % = 1,07-1.40) confirmed the statistical difference as for conversion. Conclusions: Age> 65 years, male sex, BMI and calculus size can be part of a prediction model for the conversion of patients undergoing emergency laparoscopic cholecystectomy. Multicenter, prospective studies are suggested, which also include the experience of the surgeon and the application of the model in a design of diagnostic tests.
