Knowledge is little known and extent of utilization of Information Communication Technology (ICT) and its importance in the learning process of students of Human Medicine. This work is quasi-experimental and has been developed to verify whether a workshop on biomedical data using the web improves academic performance of students of Fifth Year of Human Medicine. The workshop resulted in a statistically significant trend to improve the academic performance of college students in the fifth year of Medicine (p = 0.06). For the development of research a sample of 45 college students chosen in a random drawing section was used. Workshop application with improved academic performance of students who participated in the research. These features mentioned showed significant improvement as shown by the statistical results; and academic performance was aided by the fact that before starting the workshop the average intervention and control group was similar (12.39 vs 12.33, p> 0.05) and after the workshop (12.62 vs 12.29, p = 0.06) respectively. It‘s revalued the importance of using ICT in the learning process and the knowledge of the capabilities and resources of students in the pursuit and capture of knowledge.
