Mil Pies E.I.R.L, is a company dedicated to the manufacture and commercialization of women's footwear, this being our object of study. During the visits to the company, it was possible to gather information on the way they work and manufacture their products, reaching the conclusion that the company has been working in a disorganized manner, ignoring its production volume. Once the problem was identified through the Ishikawa diagram, it was determined that the first root cause of this problem is the non-standardized production times, as a consequence the possible solution would be the standardization of the times, which was carried out taking into account the 11 activities that comprise the production process: Cutting, Packing, Forming, Tilling, Centering, Reassembly, Enabled, Prefinite Preparation, Glued, Nailed and Ready. Once the activities were identified, a pilot sample of 15 observations was taken and the sample size to start the study was determined using the student's T distribution. Then, the average elementary times in each of the activities were calculated with the return to zero method using the stopwatch. Next, the workers were qualified using the Westinghouse system to proceeding at calculate the normal time. To this was added the percentage of labor supplements found by the sampling method for a proportion with an unknown population. Finally, the standard time and the volume or production capacity, both theoretical and effective, were calculated. The final result is concentrated in having determined the bottleneck activity called aparado, this being the activity that governs the production line with a standard time of 88.17 minutes / dozen, this allowed us to calculate the effective production volume equivalent to 30 dozen / women's shoe week.
