The main objective of this thesis work was to develop lean manufacturing tools to increase productivity in the production line of the company Factoría Bruce S.A. An initial diagnosis was carried out using the lean manufacturing Value Stream Mapping (VSM) tool to identify the main doffs, in addition to this analysis and an interview it was possible to determine the critical areas that were painting and finishing, for the application of the tools according to their needs, being these in this case a Kaizen that was used with a poka yoke in order to reduce processing times in the painting area and to increase the level of compliance, and standardized work, which was used both in the painting area and finishing to reduce the change and also to optimize the times of the processes through combined work and implementing standardized worksheets. Finally, the results obtained show us that with the application of lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen and standard work) productivity increases in function of processing time by 16.03%, based on number of operators by 1.59%, based on hours man 1.12% and based on the cost of labor in 0.003%; and regarding the efficiency of the process cycle from 64.35% to 73.33%.
