To assess if oxygen saturation correlates better with the Wood Downes – Ferrés score (WDF) or the Tal modified score to determine severity of patients with Bronchiolitis. Material and methods: A correlational study was carried out in 66 patients with a diagnosis of Acute Bronchiolitis treated in the Pediatric Emergency Department of Belen Trujillo Hospital during January to December 2019, in whom data from the clinical history were collected to establish severity according to the WDF and Tal modified scores, as well as recording the first oxygen saturation value at the start of medical care. Spearman's coefficient was used to assess correlation and the Kappa index to assess agreement between clinical scores. Results: Oxygen saturation values were correlated with the WDF score, obtaining a Rho Spearman coefficient -0.612 (p<0.01) whose strength of association was medium. Similarly, Tal modified score were correlated with oxygen saturation values, obtaining a Spearman's Rho coefficient -0.553 (p<0.01) whose strength of association was medium. The average oxygen saturation was 94.97% ± 2.3. According to the WDF score, 68.2% of the children evaluated presented moderate bronchiolitis and with the modified Tal score, 75.8% presented mild bronchiolitis. No concordance was found between both clinical scales to classify the patients, finding a significance of the test p > 0.05 (Kappa 0.033, p: 0.603). Conclusions: The Wood Downes-Ferrés score correlates better with oxygen saturation values compared to the Tal modified score, however, the strength of the relationship between these variables are not correct to associate severity in Bronchiolitis
