Abstract: El objetivo es describir las características del perfil del usuario del
servicio de una institución de salud. El método fue un enfoque de diseño
descriptivo y experimental, de corte transversal; el método de muestreo fue
probabilístico, con una población 435. La técnica de recolección de datos
fue la encuesta, y como instrumento el cuestionario. Los resultados señalan
56% entre las edades de 18 a 54 años, 64% del sexo femenino, 54% de
raza blanca; 44% solteros; 25% convivientes, 28% residen en el distrito de
San Juan, 42% en Belén; 35% en zona urbana y 34% urbano marginal. El
63% son soltero recién independizado. El 58% está conformado entre 3 a
4 miembros del hogar. El perfil sociocultural, 64% ejercen un oficio o son
comerciantes, el 51% trabaja por cuenta propia; 67% genera un ingreso
mensual menor a 930 soles; 58% cuenta con un nivel de instrucción de
secundaria; 75% reside en una vivienda familiar; 84% profesa la religión
católica. El perfil psicográfico y conductual describe que el 86% acude por
consulta médica y terapia; 73% conoce sobre hábitos saludables; el 89%
considera el servicio bueno; 57% de los usuario acude cada dos veces a la
semana y mensualmente; 55% son usuarios recurrente y 55% acuden a los
servicios cuando se sienten mal de salud; 66% se caracteriza por un estilo
de vida de personas que recién viene del pueblo a la ciudad; 96%
manifiesta que probablemente recomendara el servicio; el 68% de los
usuarios prefiere el servicio de la clínica, que el de la competencia.
The objective is to describe the characteristics of the user profile of the service of a health institution. The method was a descriptive and experimental design approach, cross-sectional; the sampling method was probabilistic, with a population of 435. The data collection technique was the survey, and the questionnaire was used as an instrument. The results indicate 56% between the ages of 18 to 54 years, 64% female, 54% white; 44% single; 25% live together, 28% reside in the district of San Juan, 42% in Belén; 35% in urban areas and 34% marginal urban areas. 63% are newly independent singles. 58% is made up of 3 to 4 household members. The sociocultural profile, 64% exercise a trade or are merchants, 51% work on their own; 67% generate a monthly income of less than 930 soles; 58% have a high school education level; 75% reside in a family home; 84% profess the Catholic religion. The psychographic and behavioral profile describes that 86% go for medical consultation and therapy; 73% know about healthy habits; 89% consider the service good; 57% of users visit every two times a week and monthly; 55% are recurrent users and 55% go to the services when they feel unwell; 66% is characterized by a lifestyle of people who have just come from the town to the city; 96% state that they would probably recommend the service; 68% of users prefer the service of the clinic, than that of the competition.
