The objective of this work is the research, called Composting with organic waste in student learning, in I.E N ° 38943 Gran Shinungari aimed to establish qualities and evaluate the influence of one of the variables. With a quantitative approach, applied type and quasi-experimental design; the sample was 40 students, both from the control and experimental group, selected by probabilistic sampling; the data were analyzed with the SPSS-26 program; applying pre-test and post-test evaluations, validated by the Kuder Richardson formula 20 - 0.870. To contrast the hypothesis, the Mann Whitney U test was used, the results of the pre-test, experimental group, were 70.0% (14 students) at the beginning; those of the control group, 85.0% (17 students) at the beginning and process. The result of the post-test, experimental group, was 70.0% (14 students) demonstrating that the learning achieved confirmed the objectives set; the control group was placed in the initial stage with 80.0% (16 students). It was concluded. The elaboration of compost with organic waste influences and improves the learning of the students; evaluated by the Mann-Whitney U formula the results of the experimental group, obtaining a range of 30.50, the Z value = -5.527 and p value < 0.05.
