The objective of this research work was to establish the correlation that exists between teaching strategies and active learning in UNE students, 2022. The methodology used is a quantitative approach, basic type, correlational and non-experimental design. The study group included the 145 students enrolled in the 2022 school year, of the Clothing Technology program. For the non-probabilistic sample, 24 students from the class of 2020 were considered. To collect data, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument. In this case, two instruments were used, one for each variable. To measure the rating of the questionnaire items, the Likert scale was used, which were validated by experts in the field, with a reliability level of 72%. To measure the correlation, Cronbach's alpha was used, whose result of 0.769 shows excellent reliability. The final results demonstrate a weak negative relationship on the first dimension (-0.140) as well as on the second dimension (-0.041). The important correlation of both variables is determined, concluding that the teaching strategies developed did not favor active-creative learning in students during the subject of maintenance and repair of clothing machines.
