Plastic is one of the main environmental pollutants, which is why this research aimed to determine the influence of the addition of recycled PET plastic on the density, absorption and resistance to compression in concrete blocks for structural use, having as a design the experimental method. To prepare the blocks, a standard sample was used as a base to which 5%, 10% and 15% of PET plastic was added, which were subjected to tests established by NTP 399.602, 2017; which were, compressive strength, dry density and maximum absorption. The results obtained from the designs of the concrete blocks with the addition of recycled PET plastic at 5%, 10% and 15% in the compression resistance were 15.51, 13.57 and 12.57 Mpa, for the absorption test it was obtained as result 73.80 and 84 kg/m3, while at the maximum density the result was 2074, 2050 and 1989 kg/m3 respectively. Concluding that by adding 5% PET plastic the minimum requirements established by the regulations are met.
