In this project, it was possible to increase labor productivity from 0.10 to 0.29 in the lighting and sound assembly process in a company in the entertainment sector, since it was the main objective, specifically for events or live shows such as concerts, conferences, presentations, symposiums, etc. by applying process management and the 5s based on the PDCA cycle. In the first chapter, the sector is contextualized at a macro level and then landed on the Peruvian scenario, in the same way, tools already mentioned that helped solve the problem of the company under study are presented. In the second chapter, it was identified that the company's problem generated a loss equivalent to 12.9% of annual sales, evidenced by two main reasons: Reprocessing and Delays in Picking or Preparation of orders for events, these being 60% and 35% respectively. In the fourth chapter, the validation that shows the operation and viability of the proposal is shown. Thus, a reduction of additional man hours of 27.50% was achieved by obtaining defined procedures for the assembly of lights and sound, 20% by reducing errors in planning and 22.50% by obtaining procedures for inventories, in the same way a compliance percentage of 95% was obtained by using the 5s tool. Finally, in the final part of this project it is concluded that the tools used correctly are effective for the achievement of the objectives set, since productivity was improved by reducing overtime and by locating products and supplies in the warehouse in a faster and more orderly manner.
