Objective: To determine the clinical and epidemiological characteristics of women of childbearing age with vulvovaginitis at the Qhali Runa Health Center in the year 2023. Methodology: Quantitative approach, non-experimental design, descriptive, retrospective scope. The sample consisted of 86 patients with a diagnosis of vulvovaginitis seen at the Qhali Runa Health Center during the year 2023. Results: The most frequent type of vulvovaginitis was Vaginosis 55.8% (n=48), Candidiasis 27.9% (n=24), Trichomoniasis 2.3% (n=2) and Mixed 14% (n=12). The most frequent sociodemographic characteristics were: most frequent age was between 18 and 25 years, single marital status 82.6% (n=71), incomplete higher education 94.2% (n=81). The most frequent clinical characteristics were: itching in the vaginal area 68.6% (n=59), irritation in the vaginal area 31.3% (n=27) and pain in the vaginal area 9.3% (n=8). The most frequent quantity of vaginal discharge was scanty 59.4% (n=51), the color of vaginal discharge was white 73.1% (n=63), the consistency of vaginal discharge was lumpy 36% (n=31) and the odor of vaginal discharge was foul-smelling 55.7% (n=48). The most frequent obstetric characteristics were: age of onset of menarche 13 to 16 years 61.6% (n=53), onset of sexual intercourse between 15 to 17 years 83.7% (n=72), most frequent number of sexual partners was 3 to 4 partners 55. 8% (n=48), no children 85.2% (n=73), no abortions 96.4% (n=83), history of vaginal discharge 77.9% (n=67), most frequent contraceptive method was monthly injectable 29.1% (n=25). Conclusions: It was determined that the most frequent type of vulvovaginitis was Vaginosis, it was also possible to determine which were the most frequent clinical epidemiological characteristics in the patients of said health center already described.
