In the Peruvian industrial sector, companies often face great challenges linked to business in which, every day, competition becomes stronger. This makes it necessary for the drivers of the organizations to make agile and timely decisions. In this context, due to the increase in commercial and financial activity operations, there were deficiencies in the decision-making process, which affected business performance, such as a decrease in sales, an increase in operating costs and an increase in cancelled orders. For this reason, a business intelligence solution was implemented with business indicators for decision making with accurate and timely information, which helps the organization to evaluate alternatives, know the results of internal processes, anticipate customer demands and anticipate the actions of competitors. This system was developed using the Kimball methodology with Power BI. PMBOK was chosen for project management, while the agile Scrum framework was used for product development. After the implementation of the system, the decision-making process was improved, significantly reducing time and obtaining accurate and timely information, which allowed managers to make more timely and reliable decisions. Also, commercial management was improved, generating new opportunities for customer loyalty, product purchase and sale, and inventory management.
