The present work aimed to explain the educational media and materials as effective support in the achievement of learning in the area of mathematics in girls and boys of EI. For this purpose, 81737 has taken a sample of 37 students and 3 teachers for the application of surveys and interviews, respectively. The results show that the educational media and materials strengthen the teaching-learning achievements in children who have access to them, in addition they affirmed that they learn much better with the means and materials that their teachers make, however, these means are not used in its entirety because it is necessary to strengthen in teachers the way and times in which educational means should be used. It is concluded that the teaching-learning process in the area of mathematics is strengthened and concretized to the extent that teachers use the educational means and materials, specifically the materials prepared by themselves, for which inputs from their environment are used: Seeds, sticks, pebbles, tree leaves. One hundred percent of the students surveyed said they understand the math class much better when their teacher uses educational materials and media, making the student closer to reality and can solve problems significantly.
