The objective of this research work is to determine the influence of the flipped classroom on research-based learning in higher education students, at a public university in Lima in the year 2022. This research was presented under a quantitative approach of pre-experimental design, considering a sample of 25 (35%) students from a section, of the professional career of Physical Education, with a population of 70 (100%) belonging to a promotion. The instruments applied for the development of the investigation were constituted in the first instance by a questionnaire translated into Spanish and validated by research experts, the questionnaire which was called AHABI was applied in the pre and post test of the study, it was applied to the experimental group a learning module based on the flipped classroom methodology in the development of a subject. Based on the results found statistically, it was determined that the application of the inverted classroom had a significant impact on research-based learning in the sample considered for the development of the study, since the Wilcoxon statistic yielded a Z value of -3.661 with a significance that did not exceed 0.05, establishing a significant influence of the flipped classroom variable on the ABI in the interpretation of the acceptance of the proposed hypothesis.
