The objective of this research is to promote distance education in technical and engineering areas. The general objective of this research is to evaluate the link between the Industrial Automation Remote Laboratory and the way in which the teaching and learning process is developed at the Faculty of Technology of the National University of Education. The research is based on a quantitative and descriptive-correlational approach. The population corresponds to the industrial automation students of the Faculty of Technology of the National University of Education and is made up of a group of 24 university students, who come from 3 different laboratories. The SPSS software was used. Version 26 in Spanish to perform the statistical analysis. Likewise, these are organized graphically and tabularly for descriptive statistics, as well as for the statistics and inferences that we use. Normality test and Pearson correlation. The results show that when the values of sig < 0.05, therefore, H0 is discarded or dismissed, the hypothesis that the sample data do not originate from a Gaussian distribution is confirmed, consequently, to evaluate the hypotheses raised, the Shapiro-Wilk test and the Pearson coefficient will be used, due to this, the null hypothesis is discarded and the hypothesis of researcher HG is confirmed. Remote industrial automation laboratory is significantly related to the teaching and learning process at the Faculty of Technology of the National University of Education. It presents a positive correlation of medium or moderate magnitude, according to the correlation coefficients used.
