The objective of this research work is to evaluate how worm farming contributes to the development of environmental education among students of the Agricultural specialty of the Army Technological Higher Education Institute - Army Technical School, located in the district of Chorrillos, Province of Lima, during the year 2019. To evaluate the progress of the research, two surveys were administered that facilitated the collection of information and the measurement of variables in order to make relevant comparisons: the first survey to evaluate the independent variable (vermiculture ) and the second to measure the dependent variable (environmental education). The research approach was quantitative and applied, using an experimental method with a quasi-experimental design that involved two sample groups: one experimental and the other control. The results were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially, using frequencies and percentages in the variables in accordance with the objectives and hypotheses proposed. To test the hypothesis, a non-parametric statistical test was used at the inferential level to examine the variations and verify the differences in the data of the sample obtained. The Mann-Whitney U test was applied for this purpose. After examining the results, it was determined that the use of the teaching resource of vermiculture has a notable impact on the level of environmental education of students specializing in agriculture at the Army Technical School. Consequently, worm farming plays a crucial role in promoting environmental education among students at the Army Technological Higher Education Institute - Army Technical School.
