The objective of this research work is to investigate the connection between the director's leadership style and the participation of parents in the Initial Educational Institution # 1128, located in the Totoral Neighborhood Unit. In terms of methodology, the study was designed as non-experimental, quantitative and correlational in nature. There were 37 subjects participating, and questionnaires were used to collect data. The findings indicated that 54.1% of the participants expressed that there is a deficiency in managerial leadership, while 67.6% perceived a deficiency in the participation of parents. Likewise, it was evident that there is a significant positive and considerable relationship between the dimensions of pedagogical leadership and communication between parents and the school (p = 0.000 and r = 0.679); between inclusive leadership and mediation of academic learning (p = 0.000 and r = 0.669); and between distributed leadership and school management and activities (p = 0.000 and r = 0.729). Finally, it was observed that the variables of director's leadership and parent participation showed a significant, positive and considerable educational relationship (p = 0.000 and r = 0.717). In conclusion, it is confirmed that there is a connection between director's leadership and parent participation in the Initial Educational Institution # 1128 of the Totoral Neighborhood Unit. The importance of effective directive leadership to foster parental collaboration and support both at home and at school is highlighted.
