The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between social skills and academic performance in 2nd year cadets of the Escuela Militar de Chorrillos Crl. Francisco Bolognesi - 2019. For the development of this research, a total of 230 cadets participated, who were the population of the study, and a probabilistic sample of 144 cadets of the II Year of the Military School of Chorrillos Crl was delimited. Francisco Bolognesi - 2019. The research was carried out under a quantitative approach, since two questionnaires were used to collect data through the survey, and these data were estimated by a statistical and numerical process. The level of depth of the study was descriptive and correlational, and it was decided to carry out a type of applied research. The design of the study was non-experimental, cross-sectional. For the statistical analysis of the variables social skills and academic performance, we used Spearman's Rho, a coefficient that provided and facilitated the corroboration of hypotheses and the definition of correlations of both variables. Therefore, it was possible to reaffirm that social skills are related to academic performance in second-year cadets of the Military School of Chorrillos Crl. Francisco Bolognesi - 2019.
