The objective of this research work was the quantitative approach, applied type and quasi-experimental design. It was applied to a control group and an experimental group through pretest and post tests, with the purpose of determining if the application of the Arduino platform has an influence on the learning of the Microcontroller course in students of the VIII cycle of the Industrial Automation professional career. the Faculty of Technology at the UNE, in 2018. After the field work using the Arduino platform application pedagogical program to improve the use of microcontrollers, the following result was obtained, which shows the student's t test: posttest with a level 95% confidence level, Bilateral Sig. of 0.000 less than 0.05. Consequently, the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, confirming that the application of the Arduino platform influences the learning of the Microcontroller course in the aforementioned students. It is concluded that the application of said technology is essential for high quality learning.
