The objective of this research work is to raise awareness about education, which in recent times has been experiencing new challenges, such as the STEM model, Maker communities, the Internet of Things and Education 4.0, being a great challenge to promote new educational environments in our classrooms, therefore the approach of this research is for the purpose of getting students involved in making, creating, exploring, researching and building technological modules in educational robotics. Our research focused on the following problem: What effect does the introduction of technological applications of educational robotics have on the learning process in students of Information Technology and Telecommunications of the Faculty of Education UNDAC?, an experimental study whose objective was to determine the influence of educational applications in robotics to improve student learning. To do this, a mobile robot was designed and implemented consisting of an Arduino card, sensors, actuators, a Bluetooth module, a power circuit, programming and an Android App. The multiple treatment research design was applied with a single group, applying a survey and performance test for data collection through observation and measurement to the students of the educational robotics course, determined by non-probabilistic sampling. The results indicate that the use of educational robotics has had a positive effect on the learning level of students, showing significant improvements from a regular level (100%) in the pretest to good levels (99.8%) and excellent (11.15) in the posttest. This result supports the hypothesis raised and suggests that the integration of educational robotics in the teaching and learning process is a determining factor in the improvement of academic results (z = -2.887, p < 0.05).
