This study was carried out with the objective of verifying the impact of the MINEDU 2019 Teaching Induction Program on the performance of new teachers, appointed in the 2018 appointment contest of the Public Teaching Career, area of UGEL 05 - San Juan de Lurigancho, route 110, with respect to the traditional methodology. To meet this objective, the quantitative approach was followed, of a descriptive and explanatory type, following the basic procedures of a non-experimental design. The population consisted of 23 teachers appointed in 2018, in the area of UGEL 05 - San Juan de Lurigancho, route 110. The sample was census and not probabilistic, with two groups of teachers, out of a total of 8 Educational Institutions with one population of 13 novice teachers who meet the requirement to participate in the PID 2019 program (Without previous experience or with experience of less than two (2) years in public teaching), and of 10 novice teachers, who still, having been appointed in 2018, have not They meet the requirement to participate in the PID 2019 program. The observation technique was used as a data collection technique, whose instrument (post-test) was the rubric. The content validity of the MINEDU 2019 Teaching Induction Program (module already validated) and the rubric on the performance of the new teacher, was carried out through expert judgment with an excellent level of validity and a level of reliability, also excellent, performed using Cronbach's alpha coefficient, whose value was 0.858. The results, at a confidence level of 95%, allowed to conclude that: The 2019 MINEDU Teaching Induction Program positively and significantly impacts the performance of new teachers, appointed in the 2018 appointment contest of the Public Teaching Career, area of UGEL 05 - San Juan de Lurigancho, route 110, with respect to the traditional methodology (With a p <0.05) Because the observed significance p = 0.000 is less than the theoretical significance α = 0.05.
