The mining sector in Peru has allowed the development of national companies that, as they grow in terms of sales, require a level of management that accompanies them. This is the case of the company REDRILSA, who has experienced growth in the execution of diamond drilling projects mainly in the center and south of the country, whose technical experience has also allowed it to provide its services at an international level. This thesis seeks to identify opportunities for improvement in the management of the projects undertaken by REDRILSA, to carry out an internal and external analysis using tools such as: the value chain, PESTEL, Porter's 5 Forces; identify the expectations of the stakeholders and from this, propose the design of a Project Management Office (PMO) for the company, based on the PMO Value Ring methodology as the best alternative to integrate transversally the best practices in project management in the company, highlighting the importance that the methodology provides a tailor-made solution for REDRILSA. From the design of the PMO we provide a strategy proposal for its implementation in the company and finally we perform a technical-economic analysis in which we conclude that the design and implementation of the Project Management Office in REDRILSA provides functional benefits directly related to the expectations of the main stakeholders and it is also profitable, so it is aligned with the strategic objectives of the company.
