The objective of this research was to explore the relationship between Transformational Leadership and Job Performance in a technology company in Lima. To this end, 47 employees were evaluated, 42 men (89%) and 5 women (11%), between 24 and 59 years old (M = 33 years; SD=7.26). The Multifactorial Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ 5X) translated by Vega and Zavala (2004) and the Report of requirements/incidents of the company's system were used to measure Transformational Leadership and Job Performance, respectively. As main findings of the study, a low level of Work Performance was identified in the participants, which could be linked to work overload. Leaders also obtained average scores in Transformational Leadership, which could be caused by the monotonous work their respective teams do, the number of projects being managed by the leaders, and the remote work modality. Finally, the study found a significant inverse and low correlation between the subdimension "Idealized Influence", within Transformational Leadership, and Job Performance, which is associated to the possible decrease in the team´s sense of co-responsibility. The remaining dimensions were not correlated, which could be linked to the characteristics of the sample, the presence of additional mediating variables, or the Transformational Leadership Questionnaire used.
