Many companies in the wine production sector generally apply processes that, although they have a lot of tradition, do not have adequate production processes that favor innovation and improve their competitiveness in an increasingly demanding market with many more actors than . some years. The purpose of this research is to evaluate and improve the cost system at Viña San Lorenzo, reflecting its production costs for the year 2023. The work consists of 3 parts; In the first chapter, the company selected to be investigated is presented, making known the problems and objectives of the company. Continuing with the second chapter where background information on production costs is presented in order to arrive at the qualitative methodological approach where 3 interviews were carried out in order to choose possible alternative solutions to the problems found. The third chapter was based on justifying the chosen alternative, and which would be the best to apply, taking into account its feasibility or viability of the alternatives studied and proposed. Finally, it is determined that Viña San Lorenzo needs several improvements in its cost system, to promote profitability and improve the quality of its final product, to accelerate an expansion that has been delayed due to the lack of new techniques, use of better. technologies and standardization of their production processes.
