Due to the continuous growth of the water surface level of the tailings tank, the Operational plan foresees that for the next years 2019 - 2023 the crown of the tailings dam should be raised, under the criteria of containment of tailings and process water; taking into consideration the layout of a reservoir with a volumetric capacity that satisfies the storage conditions of the maximum probable precipitation, always maintaining a free edge of at least 2.0 m. Due to the need of the mining unit, it is necessary to develop the construction of the dam regrowth from the level 4,140.05 m to the level 4,150 m, under the DownStream methodology, these works will be executed according to the specifications and requirements indicated in the plans of design of the GROWTH OF THE TAILINGS DAM project 4,140.5 - 4,150 for COMPAÑIA MINERA ABC. The climatic and geological conditions and the interaction with the surrounding communities, as well as the activities of other strategic partners and the client's own engineering changes, require the optimization of the construction processes related to massive earthworks and localized fills. Although the use of the Last Planner System had been implemented, this was being done with a very short-term programming, and not all the command personnel had the theoretical training of this system, for this reason, all the command personnel were trained and the planning was changed to 8 weeks, achieving less restrictions and better results in the production of the works, showing an improvement in the SPI from 0. 95 to 1.01 and in the CPI from 0.79 to 1.07 in the trellis, finding ourselves ahead and with a lower cost than planned, as can be seen in the CSI history of the following figures 3 y 4.
